In preparation for the intro presser, thought Ben might want to know questions the fans want asked and answered. Here are some of mine:

Maples has been a tough, loud place to play in the past. Do you believe all you need to do is win games to bring fans back in sell-out type numbers? Do you feel like you need superstar talent to get this market interested? Do you see yourself taking an active role promoting Stanford MBB to the community?

There's a lot of skepticism from fans that this university's leadership cares about winning in MBB and football, as evidenced by the ACC move. What have you been told the expectations are for this program?

How do you view the transfer portal as it relates to this program?

How much emphasis will be put on international recruiting?

How do you feel about one and done recruits, and will you pursue them?

I'm SUPER curious what y'all think about this. Should she do it? Is it a distraction for her playing the tournament? Will it create jealously among WNBA players who have paid their dues and can't make what Clark will make playing 8 games, in probably 10 WNBA seasons? Will it help boost the WNBA?

I can see a lot of people trying to equate this to Riggs-Billy Jean King, but that was a misogynistic play billed as the "battle of the sexes" to make BJK and women look bad. Sure it is a savvy business move to get attention for his league, but I see Ice Cube coming from a much different place of women's empowerment with this offer.

So, how is everyone's bracket after day 1?

More than 22 million brackets were entered on ESPN. As of tonight, 2,200 are still perfect. Warren Buffett's $1 million is safe for another year.

If you are sitting behind the Stanford bench, is that section 102 or 122? The seating chart just shows 'team bench's and not home vs away.

After watching Stanford softball complete a second straight sweep (at Cal; vs. Utah), I'm now here at Sunken Diamond. 1-0 lead for the Cardinal at the end of the 6th inning. Stanford softball won 5-3. NiJaree Canady finished it out, pitching the final 4.1 innings.
