I think most of you are already aware of these games as they were previously posted on the board and all. But I finally squeezed in my write ups on the upcoming home and home series with Fresno State and also the additional games added to the Bill Walsh Legacy game with San Jose State. If for some reason you missed those threads or had forgotten, here is your bonus reminder! Both write ups are below.

Or maybe are you just angry that none of the teams of our peers are required to break even?

Other than about 2 minutes of Cal peeing down its leg in the Independence Bowl, I haven't watched a single Bowl game. So I looked at the schedule and that didn't move me either. I'll probably find myself watching the CFP semi-final games, but the other games do nothing for me. Got me wondering if I'm the only one who just can't find any interest in watching these exhibition games.

Just came out. Excellent movie.
Despite some degree of hyperbole and considerable time condensing taken with needed artistic license.
You don't go from a neophyte sitting first time in the 'barge' to an Olympic Gold medal in one year.

But great action shots. Methinks practice & racing scenes filmed elsewhere on location, not the actual real venues including what looked like a faked UDub Montlake cut). And at already 2 and 1/4 hours long, If they had stuck true to the book likely would have likely taken 5+ hours to show/develop true character history.

That all said, still a great movie. Racing & practice action quite authentic. Highly recommended.

Surprised there is no discussion on the article in the Athletic on USC’s season.

Reminded me of Mandel’s article on Stanford a year ago. Would not be surprised if USC looks at Jimbo’s buyout and says hold my beer.

I’m wondering what the process is for someone wanting to transfer in via the portal.

We know that the application is a requirement for HS students, and doing the app well and completely is time-consuming.

In a world where transfer decisions seem to get made in a matter of days, how is Stanford handling this…assuming we actually have candidates?

Actually FLU led most of the 2nd half, then AZ catches-up, numerous rinse & repeats. But AZ never in control. But AZ caught the cycle at the top and they tied it up to get into OT. Then again, to force a 2nd OT. In which they wound up missing a 3 and losing by 1. AZ's D not so great, and tho bigger than FLU, were unable to really take over/dominate inside the paint, Thought Fla Atlantic was quicker, and skilled. They're either a lot better than their #14, or Ariz not worthy of their #4 ranking. Or some of both.

Hearing that TKO and an unnamed private equity have interest in helping to finance a possible B12/ACC/Pac merger. Hearing this could be a financial boon to all parties involved. The goal here is to keep the entirety of the potential merger candidates intact.
