Here is the men's basketball and women's basketball recruiting notes thread for February. January thread is here. In terms of key guys I'm hoping to get interviews with in the coming weeks: 2023 commit Kanaan Carlyle and 2023 targets Finley Bizjack and Wesley Yates. All three guys are 4-stars. Bizjack and Yates both visited over the fall. I got contact info to reach Carlyle this past week, gotta go through a coach of his and then Bizjack has hit me back saying he's down. Just gotta keep at it to get a time hammered out. Yates I'll keeping trying with as well, but haven't yet heard back from him. There's also some lower rated guys like Nolan Winter and Mitchell Holmes that I'll hit up as well. But I wanna focus on Carlyle, Bizjack, and Yates first. That's where we're at on the men's hoops side heading in to February.
On the women's side, the following 2023 recruits are the ones to keep an eye on: Samantha "Sammie" Wagner, who has Stanford in her top eight, JuJu Watkins hasn't released any list yet (number one recruit in the nation), and Delaney Thomas who hasn't posted a top list either. Stanford already has Nunu Agara and Courtney Ogden committed for 2023, so they're off to a great start. @Bobbk any other women's recruits you're aware of for 2023? The other names I had have either committed elsewhere or scratched Stanford off their list.
