Caught up with Rivals 100 LB Tre Lamar last night to discuss his Stanford offer.
He's a good fit for the Cardinal in many ways, but even though he kind of downplayed it in the article, distance is a major hurdle here. Stanford's currently in maybe the No. 6 - No. 8 range on his list, and the only way they'll rise is if they can somehow get him on campus.
A longshot any way you look at it, but Stanford will try to keep chipping away at getting him to visit, so we'll see what happens.
