Time for me to also create a new hoops recruiting notes thread as well. The one for February is here.
On the men's side, lot of the same names still in play: Finley Bizjack, Wesley Yates, Mitchell Holmes, and Cade Phillips. There's others as well, but those are some of the key ones. Phillips is looking to visit soon. So, that's something to keep an eye on. Also, 4-star small forward Keanu Dawes is the latest offer. Sounds like Stanford is making a good impression there early. My article on him will be out soon.
Lastly, it should be noted that 2023 commit Kanaan Carlyle picked up a 5th star in the latest Rivals 150 rankings. So, he's looking like a guy who will be a really really good addition when he arrives on The Farm. I have his contact info. Just need to find the time to set up an interview.
On the women's side, nothing has changed since February. The following 2023 recruits are the ones to keep an eye on: Samantha "Sammie" Wagner, who has Stanford in her top eight, JuJu Watkins hasn't released any list yet (number one recruit in the nation), and Delaney Thomas who hasn't posted a top list either. Stanford already has Nunu Agara and Courtney Ogden committed for 2023, so they're off to a great start.
I should add that Stanford will have two commits playing in the McDonald's All-American game later this month (March 29): Lauren Betts and Indya Nivar. I'll look to interview them about their experiences when that is over.
