According to 247's rankings, the top 5 recruiting classes as of now (Bama, OSU, UGA, FSU, and Michigan) already have commitments from 57 of the top 150 players in the 247 composite, with more likely to follow. I know the recruiting rankings are biased in that commits to top programs get a bump in their ranking, but this is ridiculous.
The Pac-12, on the other hand, is not doing so well. According to 247's rankings, none of the Pac-12 schools are in the top 15 recruiting classes as of now. U$C will likely crack the top 15 (but not the top 10) with late commitments, and no other schools in the conference seem likely to make the top 15.
I suppose I'd prefer to have the talent clustered in the SEC and BigTen than on teams who play Stanford every year, but I do think it will be problematic for the Pac-12 if the talent doesn't stay in the region more often in the coming years.
