One particular item of note - he has Austin Uke tabbed as our starting DT next to Tobin Phillips. I know Steele does his research when he compiles these depth charts, including interviews with the coaching staff. But this is certainly the first I’ve heard of moving Uke over to the DL.
Given the lack of scholarship bodies, the move would certainly make sense. As for the transition, however, I have a hard time imagining that Uke could go from OL backup to DL starter in the span of one offseason.
Anyone else know something I don’t that might corroborate this position switch?
