Way off topic, but apparently there’s been some drama with the Foothill College men’s basketball team (my other alma mater). A couple players were 25 minutes late to the team bus before their road game at Gavilan College because they were out getting Panda Express and because they were late, the coach benched them because of team policy. After they lost the game 77-75, the head coach excoriated the team and slammed the white board in the locker room, saying that they would have won the game had the dudes that were late to the bus come on time.
The coach also said he has three jobs and that he’s wasting his time coaching them. Gavilan College is pretty terrible with a 6-22 record, losing at Foothill 79-60 earlier in the season. So I can see why he was upset. Pretty wild and entertaining stuff!
