KJ QBR - 94.5, third in the nation. http://www.espn.com/ncf/qbr/_/type/player-week/week/4
So, once again we start the older, less talented, more understanding of the playbook (although my eyes tell me this is not the case) guy over the younger, more talented guy. And, like every other time in Shaw's tenure, he's wrong.
Imagine if KJ had gotten at least an equal amount of first team reps instead of none.
And we won't even go to Little. I guess I can understand not starting him against USC. Barely.
If we had given KJ the job last spring and started him all year, we'd be at least 3-1 and in the top15, maybe top 10.
Actually, I'm being positive here. I wouldn't bet on it, but we might even win out. This is a different team than the one that lost to SDSU. The two big problems, pass protection and intermediate pass game are fixed. (OK, maybe I'm a bit optimistic but what's wrong with that?).
Does Las Vegas have it right? 16 points? I'll take it.
