Broadbrush treatment, but think he's captured it pretty nicely.
3 thoughts:
1. Think Wilner correct that Basketball's demise, Muir's supposed forte, his principal responsibility & a failure,
2. PERHAPS one of the reasons Muir was reticent/ unwilling to step into the demise of Football under Shaw was that until the past several 3 win seasons of mediocrity, Shaw's power and rep/credibility with the University and alums significantly outweighed his own as AD. Shaw held the cards, not Muir. Nevertheless what was still in his responsibility, that huge $$$$$ bump & extension an outrage. And Wilner missed that.
3. Wilner nailed it in the attitude of Levigne and Persis Drell being killers. And a nit; Wrong that Levin moved to pull in Andrew Luck in as GM August... when it was actually mid-late October. But the essence correct.
