We're slightly screwed next year with three inter-sectionals against top25 teams.
Why don't we do what other teams do, and negotiate some rescheduling?
We are still looking for a third non-Pac12 game in 2021/2022 so that presents an opportunity to postpone the UCF game to that time frame.
We are scheduled to play UCF on 9/14.
Here's UCF future schedules. So, it looks like we could play them in 2021/2022.
San Jose State has a 9/14 opening next year.
Holy Cross has a 9/14 opening next year.
UC Davis is scheduled to play Lehigh on 9/14. Cancel/Reschedule that and play Stanford.
It just seems like we should get creative and try to find a way to make next year's schedule NOT the hardest schedule we have probably ever had. Obviously, switching games presents problems and must be negotiated, but jeez, if you don't try, you don't get it done. I know other teams switch out games so it is possible.
