Irvine beats NDSU then Stanford. Cards blew 4-2 lead going into bottom of the 8th. UC Irvine scored 6 in bottom of the 8th, forcing a playoff game tomorrow (5th game for Anteaters, will be 4th for Stanford). Same for the Ducks, who lost 4-1 to LSU, who also came up out of the elimination bracket. Ore St comes out of the elimination bracket to also play 5th game tomorrow. Arizona the only Pac12 team to advance to Super-regional today. Esquer rolled the dice putting Grech into middle relief after Matthews again failed to show enough. But we failed to hold the 4-2 lead going into the 8th inning when the Anteaters then ate our relief pitcher's Lunch... scoring 6 for the win. Our Bullpen, a total fail today. Tomorrow another day.
