The ease with which Stanford defeated USC Saturday was impressive. Kris Bubic took a perfect game into the seventh and USC never appeared to be in the game. Stanford got an RBI hit from eight different players in the lineup and Jesse Kuet's day (3-for-3, 2 BBs) was very encouraging. Maverick Handley had another strong day as well, so if Stanford's bottom three in the lineup is waking up then "special" is the word to start using about this team's potential.
