Here is my take on how the new redshirt rule could have helped Stanford last year and which incoming freshmen might get on the field this season. I didn't include Jay Symonds because I think he has a good shot of playing in the opener and playing the whole season. Michael Wilson and Justus Woods are probably the other freshmen who might earn playing time, but I think they're blocked by too many experienced and talented players.
