Caught up with top 2016 kicker JJ Molson to discuss his recent visit to Stanford and his standing with the Cardinal. Molson will return to Stanford this summer to compete in the Cardinal's specialists camp. (Stanford has on several occasions rewarded the top specialist from their camp with an offer.)
According to Molson, and as mentioned in the story, Stanford does plan to take a scholarship placekicker this year. When Jake Bailey arrives on campus he'll be the only scholarship specialist, so it makes sense to add a second, and someone who is primarily a kicker, like Molson.
