Jake Browning started for UW last night against Boise. UW lost, but Browning got pretty good reviews. He went 20-34, for 150 yards, with 1 INT.
Reminded me of the number of QBs who were in contention for Stanford offers, never got one, but ended up starting as true freshman elsewhere:
Jake Browning (Class of 2015, starting at UW)
Josh Rosen (Class of 2015, starting as true frosh at UCLA)
Kyle Allen (Class of 2014, took over starting job at A&M halfway through 2014)
Brad Kaaya (Class of 2014, started as true frosh at Miami)
Jared Goff (Class of 2013, started as true frosh at Cal)
