In response to Stanford WBB not including DiJonai Carrington in the graphic of alums on WNBA rosters for opening day, I saw this issue on social media: Should Stanford celebrate athletes who finish at another school?

WBB did the same thing last year with Carrington, and Carrington was upset about it on Twitter. At the time, I thought the omission might be a petty response to Carrington's public criticism of Stanford WBB since she left. However, Haley Jones wouldn't be on the graphic if this were about bad blood! Stanford isn't the only sports information department that does this. WBB isn't the only team recently with prominent former players drafted after playing somewhere else. For example, I don't believe the football program did anything to congratulate Walter Rouse on its social.

What say you, Stanford fans? In my opinion, the answer is simple: We should include all players who earned degrees at Stanford.
