In the postgame press conference, Shaw was clearly pissed that Oregon wasn't getting called for "disconcerting signals". I had to look it up, and it is defined as, "when a defensive player pretends to be the quarterback, mimicking their cadence and causing confusion on the offensive side of the ball". That would certainly help explain things.
