This game reminded me of the Pre-Teevens era of Stanford Football. I know that some nostalgically pine for those days. Well, they may be here. A defense that can't stop anyone which forces the offense to be a pass first offense with all of the attendant excitement and often the attendant disappointment that goes along with that when the interceptions occur. Even though the game's final result was embarrassing, it was an exciting game to watch. This type of team will usually be hovering around a six win season but it will be a lot more fun to watch and maybe the fans will start trickling back once they realize that this is not the same boring ten win Stanford team anymore. I am surprised I am not seeing more happy posts today.
