I just watched the '18 season recap and it's obvious that these two don't know what they're talking about. Curtis Conway marveled at the way Shaw adjusted to the rash of injuries, especially to Love and the OL, by switching to a pass-heavy offense that carried them to an 8 win season. He said it was, "Flat-out great coaching" and sent a shout out to Shaw and his staff.
Yogi Roth had similar praise. He mentioned the seven different OL combinations that Stanford was forced to work with due to injuries and how well they did despite the lack of chemistry. He called Shaw one of the Top 5 coaches in all of football, both pro and college.
Roth also predicted that Michael Wilson is the emerging star for '19.
