The majority of Stanford offers reported this early in the recruiting cycle are not actually offers (see: Bailey Hockman, Tyreke Johnson), but my guess is this one is probably legitimate. (Though I will double check when I have a chance.) Per our Alabama recruiting analyst, Stanford has offered 2018 Alabama QB Jack West.
We've discussed West on a number of occasions here, and he's a bit of a special case when it comes to Stanford's general policy against early offers. He's camped with the Cardinal the last two summers, he's never made a 'B,' and he's really, really good.
