Hudson Henry is scheduled to be on campus this weekend. This is an exciting development for Stanford's 2019 class and, if the Henrys do in fact make the trip, it's a major step toward completing the comeback for the Cardinal in his recruitment. In early September it seemed certain that Hudson was going to follow the legacy of Henrys playing at Arkansas, but Stanford made up a lot of ground in the past month. It has helped the Cardinal's cause that Arkansas' season is in a tailspin while the Henrys watch to see how Chad Morris uses tight ends in his offense.

While Stanford is working through a variety of problems this season, it's still off to a 4-1 start and the tight ends are never bored during games. Of course, a big part of the visit is that it will be Hudson's first chance to see Stanford's tight ends in action live. It's also important that it's another opportunity for him to interact with the coaches and players.

I'll double check later in the week that Henry is able to make the trip. They've cancelled visits a couple times. Also, I'm not sure yet who else may be on campus this weekend. Ideally for Stanford they'll have all three of the Bay Area recruits in attendance to help sway Hudson. If Josh Pakola can be there he alone would be a great ally for the Cardinal coaches.
