at the kicker position.

In an intrasquad game of us versus them (or them versus us), it's sometimes hard to measure abilities.

But when a kicker is 3-3 and has field goals of 42, 40, and 47 yards, and the end zone tv view shows those kicks clearing the uprights by easily 10 more yards each time, those 50+ yard bombs are easily quantified as being from a FG kicker with a strong leg. I'm talking Jet Toner.

He hit seven of eight field goal attempts (long of 54 yards), 52 of 54 PATs as a HS junior at Punahou.
He hit six of eight field goal attempts (long of 50 yards), 47 of 48 PATs as a senior.

I think the torch has definitely been passed from Conrad Ukropina to Jet Toner, and we're going to have him around for four years.
