Watching last year's game on Pac-12 network. With four and five receivers and two of them often running across the middle at 5 yards or less the linebackers never interrupted their patterns. No fear for the receivers. Don't understand why they aren't flattened now and then. Shayne did it plenty and eliminates those checkdowns when the deeper receivers are covered. With our corners would like to see much more aggression by the linebackers.

Watching the SU offensive linemen on the interior...........they looked "defensive" almost paralyzed on many plays. Might have been noise but man they got beaten on a regular basis. Again, looking and expecting a lot more proactive/aggressive play.

Finally, as fborg has shown, checkdowns are readily available to KJ. In last year's game Bryce was wide open with room to maneuver in space if the ball had been thrown to him. Quick reads and dump it.
