What a difference 45 days can make! Despite losing Bailey and Neal to transfers, I am feeling good that we can break our string of losing seasons.
The two biggest questions on this team have been OL and QB and we have recent transfer additions in each area that at a minimum give us depth and likely starters. With good QB play, we could be an average offense.
Defense as others have noted should be better. DL and DB are a strength. We can be an average defense.
While we won't be favored in many games, we should be competitive. A hungry and motivated (and healthy) team under new leadership (Reich and Luck) can find a way to win 6 or more games. Every year a team that isn't picked to do well, overachieves and makes a bowl game. Why not Stanford in 2025? I have hope. I think it is going to be a fun year.
