My son is looking to get a couple PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections. Has anyone here had experience with getting insurance coverage for this procedure? The policy in question doesn’t specifically exclude coverage, but I would expect an initial denial based on the exclusions for “experimental, investigational or unproven services. “.
