I'd like to wish all the CSR poster and members a happy thanksgiving. For me I have a lot to be thankful for ( Stanford football not being one of them). The biggest thing I'm thankful for is my health. After being laid up for nearly 5 months to start the year with Jaw surgery and back issues it's great to be healthy and able to do the things I like to do ( golf, workouts and just every day stuff without feeling too beat up every time). At 75 quickly reaching 76 in January most of the things I'm thankful for are the simple things, playing with my God daughter's kids, taking a long walk, having a good Cabernet , spending time with my family and friends. And Tomorrow will be a day of being thankful cuz family and friends will be coming to visit for a big feast and good wine. I'm also thankful to you guys the people who post on this site. Sometimes when there is nothing going on and I'm thinking of what to do reading CSR post can be a nice distraction and deciding on what side I agree with on some excellent debates ( not all sports related😜).

Lastly for those who have lost a parent or close relative it can be difficult during these times. I went through it last year when my 96 yr old mom passed, and as I said it was difficult but it was easier when I just focused on all the previous holidays and other happy times and that brought a smile to my face and I was able to enjoy the holidays, so just remember all the happy, good times you had with your love one(s) that may have passed in the last 12 months.

Happy Thanksgiving.
