Maybe our best overall game of the season and clearly there were other things more important overall in our strong performance than FT shooting. But the importance of making our FTs (close to 90%) can’t be underestimated. It not only added an important 19 points, almost the margin victory, but they were critical in our maintaining momentum. Despite being hot shooting and in sync offensively, we also had some stretches where we were cold and stagnant OSU got some runs. Several times our guys made both their FTs or hit the front of a 1 and 1to stabilize us or keep OSU from seizing momentum and logrolling us. Really pleased to see that and hope it keeps up going forward. It can make a big difference especially in close games.
