Four-star defensive back Frank Buncom IV walked into Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl registration with a bulky brace on his left knee, but was in high spirits as he's set to take two final official visits before making an announcement on Jan. 28. He had a final three of Stanford, Notre Dame and Vanderbilt before Cal squeezed into his list of finalists. Buncom will visit Stanford on Jan. 16 and Cal on Jan. 23...
Buncom said: "Fortunately I've been able to visit Stanford three times unofficially. This time [Jan. 16] mainly it's an opportunity to meet some of the kids there and it's going to be a really big visit. A lot of the recruits are going to be there. It's going to give me a chance to meet their entire recruiting class and see if that's a place where I want to be."
