An analyst on the NFL Network (I did not see it, but was told about it, so I do not know which one) said that he thought that this would be DS' last year at Stanford. Apparently the GM at the Lions is a big booster of his and that is a prospective home. The analyst said that DS wants to go to the NFL and that they will stop calling if he keeps saying no. He thought that DS' approach to the game would be a major positive.
I do not know what to make of this, whether the guy has some inside knowledge or not. I do not necessarily endorse it, but I do wonder if a change would be a good thing. He is the greatest CEO and face of the program we could ask, but a lousy OC, which he insists, against all evidence, in continuing.
Anyone actually catch the segment?
Something to think about:

2011: 489
2012: 374
2013: 405
2014: 389
2015: 435
2016: 367
