[After years of discussion] My parents are determined to get me a ring commemorating my Stanford degree, and as I'm oblivious to this sort of stuff, I'm wondering if anyone can make a recommendation on a style that might be considered standard or well recognized (e.g. like the canonical MIT brass rat). Is the ring a recognized thing from Stanford (or should I continue in my efforts to convince them to spend the money on fancy coffee)?
