Stanford Athletics is having a fun day tomorrow. Football practice events (more for season ticket-holders), Softball "Big Swing" trying to set an attendance record, Baseball vs. Notre Dame, Beach Volleyball (Washington, UC Davis), food trucks, kid's games, etc.
I've gotten a dozen notifications through my Stanford email lists. This would be a TERRIFIC thing to be publicizing to the local community...schools, youth sports organizations, heck, almost anyone.
Does anyone have visibility to whether Stanford AD is doing strong outreach to avenues not on their standard email lists? If not, a huge miss.
There seem to be ways to get free tickets...especially for season ticket holders. But they should make the softball event free for everyone.
