What were SC and UCLA thinking? Did the big bucks overwhelm all other considerations?
I had assumed they announced their departure as step one, which in turn would force the rest of the west coast teams to move as well.
They couldn't possibly have thought that they would be the only two western teams in the B1G, could they?
Yet, as best I can discern, that's how it shakes out now.
Do they really think that fans would rather see them play Purdue, say, than us or Oregon? How can they expect a lot more money for a less attractive product?
Can anyone explain this to me? The logic of it all entirely escapes me.
