With today's comeback win at BC, Stanford will be the fifth seed in the ACC Tournament. Four one-run losses (three to Va Tech and once to Clemson) kept them from a top-three finish. Our pitching is not good enough to be a favorite to reach the CWS. However, the lineup has been excellent and promises only to be better next season, when our pitching will likely take a significant step forward with the development of Houston and Prystajko and the arrival of an elite pitching recruit. If we don't lose unexpected transfers, we'll be a top-10 team.
