By my count, last year we had nine admissions decisions the first week after the holidays, including seven of the Friday that kicked off the Big Visit weekend. This year we only had four (Irwin says he got word New Years Eve), despite some really strong candidates like Farrar, Love and both Reids. Any thoughts as to why we didn't have more decisions? Is it possible we put more pressure on the admissions dept last year because of the earlier date for the Big Visit weekend? Could some have opted not to announce their acceptance or rejection?
