Pretty good article, but I would have wished for a little more "Stanford love" for hiring Denny and Tyrone as head football coaches. Stanford was ahead of its time - I'd like to think as much as Michigan State (which is given some kudos by TW). Anyway, I found the article enjoyable.
BTW, we're getting there as a society. I mean, the fact that both ND and PSU are coached by AAs did not even cross my mind. (Same for anyone else?). Rather, my thought is that ND is the better team and will win, but it will not be a pushover. Also think both coaches are quite good. But that's about the extent of my thoughts on this matchup. [Well, that and the thought Stanford can't compete with either team . . . Doh!].
