Continuing to work through a few more profiles of top performers at Stanford's June camp - this is with SoCal OL Michael Saffell, who won both board drill competitions and was easily one of the top offensive linemen at camp.
Saffell could be in the mix if Stanford misses on some targets, and it sounds like a walk-on option would garner some consideration, though the financial aspect would be tough. I think the reality is that it might be a bit of an uphill climb for things to work out with the Cardinal, but he's a good player who loves Stanford and did really well at camp, so a name to file way and maybe revisit down the line.
