Caught up with 2016 New Jersey WR Donald Stewart, who visited Stanford for the Cardinal's Junior Day in April. He talked to David Shaw on Sunday and has been in touch with several Stanford coaches.
The consensus is that Stewart will be committing to Michigan sooner than later. However, at least based on my conversation with him, I think Stanford would be very much in consideration if they offer. Combination of the dream school + all of the connections with the 2016 commits (and the resulting comfort level) would help Stanford. So we'll see what ends up happening at camp and how everything plays out.
