This is a bit of a different type of recruiting story than I usually (well, basically always) do. Stanford is not really recruiting Hattis (though he is on their radar), but he was awesome at the Nike Camp on Sunday, he's in the academic ballpark (assuming the self-reported GPA is similar to his Stanford GPA), and he plays a position of significant need for the Cardinal. So, I figured why not do an article with him. He could be someone who emerges down the line as a strong Cardinal recruiting target.
