Questions inviting comments from those in the know and, failing knowledge, educated speculation:
1. Is submitting test scores optional for athletes?
2. If so, shouldn't this significantly broaden the pool of eligible recruits in all sports?
3. Shouldn't we see door #1 much less? Letting Eubanks and Co. to focus message on "take AP/H and focus on grades, not standardized testing"?
Common data set for last year's Freshman class (recruiting class of 2021, graduating class of 2025), only 12.6% submitted SATs and 8.7% ACTs. That's the entire class, not just athletes.
Seems like we should be getting a bump from this.
