I recently caught up with Tim Davis, who coaches 2016 four-star guard Frank Jackson's AAU team, to chat about Frank's recruitment.
Jackson is the No. 31 player in the nation on Rivals, No. 11 on Scout, No. 20 on ESPN and No. 29 on 247. (And he was apparently tremendous at the NBA Top 100 camp today - or so say the twitter reviews - which is loaded with top players.) In other words, he's one of the highest ranked and best prospects Stanford has had a realistic chance to sign in a long time.
Jackson will take his official visit to The Farm next month, and Stanford is definitely a contender here.
