The team's play on the court today was disappointing and uninspired. The Cardinal needed a victory at San Francisco and after the first couple minutes of the game fell apart. The good news is that the conference is historically bad and Stanford can make a serious run through the Pac-12 if it gets its act together.

On the positive side, it's not a secret that this staff recruits well. Junior guard Nimari Burnett plays at Prolific Prep in Napa and takes advantage of his proximity to Stanford to visit often, and he did so recently. He likes what he sees and hears.

Stanford: "It was really good. The coaches love me and we have a great relationship and we talk almost every day. They like when I come and visit and it's not that far, it's only like an hour and a half from me. It's always a pleasure to be at Stanford and to experience the whole culture of Stanford."
