This tweet a few minutes ago sparked the thought that I should make a separate post from the lengthy one I've been updating with tidbits of information. So, we can make this a thread for any updates and discussion on recruiting. And if people come across information that is pertinent to the thread then please feel free to post it.

After some more poking around I feel comfortable putting a couple lists together of recruits to keep track of for the next two classes.

In 2018 the group is fairly well established, but there are a number of players involved with Stanford at various levels. Part of the equation for 2018 is that class size is uncertain. Obviously two is the firm minimum, but what Reid Travis and Robert Cartwright decide will have an impact as well. Travis is likely gone and has said as much during last season.

As I've posted in part two of recruiting recap thread, Cormac Ryan and Jahvon Quinerly are top targets at guard for Stanford.

Other 2018 names to track:

Brock Cunningham: The Austin Westlake power forward is described in almost every article you can find as a tough player. He is a talented 6-foot-7 athlete who throws himself into battles with bigger players and sounds like a potential floor burns leader. I've messaged with him a bit. He said assistant coach Jeff Wulbrun came to watch an open gym session last week and he has texted with Adam Cohen the past couple months. This past week he connected with Jesse Pruitt for the first time. He said the communication has been good with the coaches.

Canadian Jaelin Llewellyn is playing in Virginia. He seems to be a guard on the verge of getting a lot more attention.

Keenan Fitzmorris: The 6-foot-10 forward is the brother of Stanford volleyball player Audriana. He's a very talented player who I hope to learn more about soon.

SF J'Raan Brooks is a former teammate of Daejon Davis at Garfield High. Watching his video and reading up on him I see a more talented, certainly higher rated, Josh Huestis.

Kamaka Hepa is an option for Stanford but I can't speak to where he stands on the board. He has an interesting story and seems like an impressive kid.

2019

Andrew Nembhard is a 2019 five star at Montverde Academy. He's a Canadian who has been thinking about moving up 2018. Contrary to what is usually the case for Stanford, my understanding is the move would not academically eliminate him from the Cardinal's consideration. It has been reported he's primarily interested in the high-academic schools and he's also really good.

Bryce Wills: Another New Yorker. Not many kids from the West on the list.

Majok Deng: This young man has an incredible story.
