I read where they made some changes to the way the NFL board gives feedback to college players who ask for a draft rating as they decide whether to go pro. The new format for this year is that you can one of three ratings.
1) You are projected to go in round 1
2) You are projected to go in round 2
3) You should stay in school
I wonder if this lack of clarity from being a UFA to a projected pick in round 3 will cause more or less players to declare. It may also lengthen decision cycles as players try to get more specific feedback through other channels. Also, to lessen the load as more and more players have been asking for feedback, they have limited the number of players who can get feedback to five per school, although exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.
