As always, we'll see if I can find the time to do my usual roundup of high school action for our commits, but I'll try.

Almost all of our guys start their senior seasons in a few days, but RB Justus Woods has already gotten started. His Charlotte Christian team lost a showdown to Charlotte Catholic 19-14 in heartbreaking fashion, giving up the game-winning touchdown on a 20 yard pass with 27 seconds left that capped off a 92 yard drive that took four and a half minutes. Of note to Stanford fans, our man had 142 yards and one touchdown (a one yard punch-in at the goal line) on 23 carries. He had 92 of those yards in the first half (on 14 carries). For those not wanting to do math at home, that's 6.57 yards per carry in the first half and 5.56 yards per carry in the second half for a 6.17 yard per carry total. It's a solid game but a Stanford-caliber RB should be getting 9+ yards per carry as a senior. Hopefully he flashes more dominance as the season goes on.
