Stanford has received one of its most important commitments in recent years: four star safety Kamari Ramsey. The timing was unexpected for me but I have felt good about predicting he would commit ever since he told me he had been admitted. Yes, Ramsey is the "stealth admit".
At one time a top 100 overall recruit, Ramsey has the potential to get back onto that list if he has a strong senior season for one of the premier teams in the country, Sierra Canyon. He is No. 154 overall on Rivals and No. 127 overall on the other site. Simply put, Stanford does not get many commitments from guys of his recruiting profile at safety.
He joins teammate Kenji Swanson in the class, both are admitted.
