My interest in baseball has been all downward since the advent of free agency. I watch almost none these days.
I do channel surf a lot and nowadays I frequently check out the ACC network. Lots of baseball on there in recent weeks.
I've noticed 2 things that surprise me:
A latge number of games with huge scores - 17 to 8, 15 to 13, etc.
Plenty of pitchers pitching from the stretch, not the windup, with bases empty.
Why are these happening? Related?
