After a relatively fallow period of recruiting, what explains Stanford's revival? Hulk once argued that success on the field has a lagged effect, so that would explain success in the 2016 class. But, why were the previous couple of years, especially 2013, relatively disappointing? I don't buy the idea of a cycle in football/eligibility volume. The overall numbers are too big for this to be possible.
