It's too early in the season to care at all about stats but this one is super easy to pull and based on data I tend to find interesting, so just for what it's worth here are our national rankings in the team skill sets PFF measures:

#26) Passing
#32) Pass Blocking
#38) Run Blocking
#39) Offense
#40) Special Teams

#48) Pass Rush
#48) Tackling
#67) Overall
#76) Defense

#80) Receiving
#86) Run Defense
#87) Coverage
#88) Rushing

Has some verisimilitude, no? I think this supports what our eyes can tell us, which is that pass catchers and pass defenders need to do a much better job, the defense is about what we thought it would be, and the offense has been our strength but not great. It's troubling for rushing to be bringing up the rear even before losing Smith, though the reason rushing brings up the rear is Smith's fumbles.
