Stanford released its updated football roster to reflect the fifth year changes that we discussed last week.
Evan Crower, Kelsey Young, Wayne Lyons, Kevin Reihner, Anthony Hayes, Lance Callihan, Torsten Rotto, J.B. Salem and Charlie Hopkins were removed. Rollins Stallworth and Ra'Chard Pippens are back, as are the rest of the expected fifth year players.
Alex Yazdi was also included on the roster. However, I checked with Stanford and was told that he has yet to make a decision on whether to return for a fifth year - it's Stanford's policy to include players on the roster until they inform the program that they are leaving. Will follow up with Coach Shaw about Yazdi's status when spring ball opens next week.
(Also, Luke Kaumatule is now listed as a DE rather than an OLB. A move back to the defensive line would make sense; will be something else to ask about next week.)
